580mm Tear Drop Plastic HWC Drip Tray

Teardrop shaped hot water cylinder tray 

Please allow a 25mm clearance around the water storage cylinder as required in AS3500

Drip Trays are required under NZ Building Code (Clause G12/AS1), for any indoor storage water heater  It must sit on a suitably drained safe tray to prevent property damage in the event of a leak. 

• Made from linear, low density polyethelene.
• Suits most standard NZ hot water cylinder footprints
• Simple installation — fits beneath cylinder before final positioning

Mandatory Drains: The tray must incorporate a compliant drain (minimum 40mm diameter) that discharges safely outside the building.  
Retrofitting & Replacements: While it is considered best practice, you are not strictly required to retrofit a tray if you are replacing an old cylinder that never had one.
