Stainless Steel Flashing Cone with extended skirt for wood fire flue system. To suit 100mm flue systems.
This has proved to be a good option for houses in high wind areas that get rain / moisture blowing up under the regular flashing cone and leaking down the inside of the flue.
The 'skirt' measures 150mm long.
This flashing cone is installed on top of the outer flue, the inner flue runs through it and the rain hat is installed on top of the flashing cone.
Sometimes called a casing cover or weather shield.
This is not a flue reducer, an air gap is required to insulate the flue.
